We’ve put together a list of 7 exercises to do every day to tighten your legs, get your heart pumping and release those feel-good endorphins.

Try this routine with 7 simple movements that are easy to do in a small space and without any equipment.

We suggest you start with 15 reps of each exercise, and repeat the series over and over, reducing the number of reps each time: 14-10-8-5, etc, down to 1.

  1. JUMPING JACKS (WARM-UP)

To get the heart pumping and warm up our muscles, we start with the classic jumping jack move! If you’re in an apartment or want to reduce the impact, you can just jog in place for 15 seconds.

  1. SQUATS

With your feet in line with your hips, lower yourself down by projecting your glutes backwards, as if you were sitting in a chair. Try not to lean forward to reduce the risk of knee injury.

Our upper body also needs to be challenged. Place your hands at the same width as your shoulders or a little wider. Lower down in two steps, making sure to bring your chest between your two hands (not your head!) and then raise up in a controlled manner.

You can do the longest reps on your knees and for a challenge, do the last few on your toes.

  1. PLANK AND SIDE OPEN (15X EACH SIDE)

In plank position, forearms on the ground, open in a controlled motion to the side and then bring your core parallel to the ground. Repeat on each side.

To get your cardio going, perform your burpee moves (jump, plank, push up, jump) as fast as possible. A super powerful movement that will require the help of all your muscles!

  1. BICYCLE CRUNCH

Finish on your back, but don’t rest! Perform rotational crunches by bringing your elbow to the inside of the opposite leg and extending the leg in line with your arm.

Once the cycle is complete, start over by removing one repetition. You’ll see, it’s much harder than it looks. Your body will thank you!
