The microwave oven is a must in the kitchen because, like all household appliances, it makes our lives easier. However, it can quickly get splashed with food and accumulate grease. Fortunately, there are practical and easy ways to clean and degrease it.
Here are some tips on how to make this kitchen essential shine again

Baking soda
To remove baked-on spills from the floor or turntable of your microwave, make a paste with baking soda and a little water
Apply this mixture to the dirty area, leave for five minutes, then wipe the baking soda off with a damp cloth, sponge or rag
Wipe off any residue with a paper towel.
Water and vinegar
Fill a half cup or bowl with water and add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.
Place this bowl in the microwave.
Set the microwave to run for five minutes.
This process will steam the sides of the microwave and loosen the dry, sticky substance
Carefully remove the glass bowl and wipe the inside of the microwave with a clean cloth or paper towel.

How do I get rid of the bad smell?
For mild odors (like spicy foods with a strong smell), air out the microwave or oven with the door open or put a bowl of baking soda inside with the door closed to absorb the odors, and for strong odors (like burnt popcorn) clean up the leftovers and apply an odor-absorbing gel inside.
