Our creepy-crawly yogurt bark makes a brilliant Halloween treat

1 Syn per serving

5 minutes plus 3 hours freezing

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 450g fat-free natural yogurt flavoured with a few drops of vanilla extract
  • 5 fresh blueberries
  • 25g dark chocolate

Method

  1. Line a 20cm x 30cm baking tray with baking paper. Dollop the vanilla yogurt over the baking paper, then use a spatula or spoon to spread it out evenly, so it’s about 1cm thick. Freeze for at least 3 hours, until the bark is completely solid.
  2. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set it over a pan of simmering water (making sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water), to melt it. Spoon the melted chocolate into a piping bag and pipe a web pattern and 5 sets of spiders’ legs onto the bark.
  3. Leave it to set, then add the reserved blueberries to the legs to create spiders. Break the bark into 6 equal pieces to serve.
