Ingredients

  • 1kg floury potatoes, such as King Edward or Maris Piper, cut into chunks
  • ½ small green cabbage, cored and shredded
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced

Method

  1. Cook the potatoes, cabbage and onion in a large saucepan of boiling water over a high heat for 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain, mash well and season to taste.
