4 x 250g thick lean beef steaks, all visible fat removed

2oog baby new potatoes

2oog baby carrots

1 garlic bulb, cloves separated and peeled

1 tbsp black peppercorns

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2ooml boiling beef stock

2 tbsp dried dill


Fresh chopped dill, to garnish


1. Place the steaks, vegetables, garlic cloves, peppercorns, vinegar, stock and dill into the slow cooker and stir well.
2. Add salt to taste, cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
3. Serve sprinkled with chopped dill
