Apple & cinnamon overnight oats
Serves 1 Syns per serving 7 Deduct 7 Syns if using the porridge oats as o Healthy Extra Ready in 10 minutes, plus chilling
40g dried plain porridge oats
125g St Helen’s Farm Gentle Fat Free Goats Milk Yogurt
2 pinches of ground cinnamon
2 tsp pomegranate seeds
1 Put the oats, yogurt, a pinch of cinnamon and 3 tbsp water in a sealable plastic tub. Stir to combine, then secure the lid and chill overnight.
2 In the morning, cut the 4 cheeks off the apple as close to the core as possible. Finely dice 3 of them, and finely slice the other. Stir the diced apple through the oats. adding a little more water to loosen if needed.
3 Tip the oat mixture into a bowl and arrange the apple slices on top. Scatter over the pomegranate seeds and remaining cinnamon. and serve.
