SW recipe: Beef in Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients:

450g Fillet Lean Beef
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Shaoxing Rice Wine
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Caster Sugar
2 tsp Cornflour
1 tbsp Ginger
1 tbsp Crushed Garlic
2 tbsp Shallots
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
200g Fresh Broccoli
6 tbsp Spring Onions
100ml Dragon Black Bean Sauce
150ml Beef Bovril

Method:

Put the beef into a bowl, add the soy sauce, rice wine or sherry, salt n pepper, sugar and corn-flour and lightly mix together.

Place a wok over a high heat, when its very hot, add in the beef mixture and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the ginger and garlic, shallots, red and yellow pepper, broccoli, spring onions and black bean sauce and stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the stock, bring the mixture to the boil, then reduce the heat, cover and simmer for another 3 minutes, or until the beef is cooked, Serve immediately and enjoy!
