Ingredients

  • Small gammon or pork joint (all visible fat removed)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped peppers
  • 2 tins of baked beans (normal tin size)
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 6 tablespoons of tomato puree

    Instructions

      1. Remove all visible fat from gammon
      2. Chop vegetables and crush garlic
      3. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker
      4. Stir the beans mixture around the joint of meat
      5. Pop the lid on
      6. Cook for 6 hours on low
      7. Remove the gammon and shred into small bitesize pieces.
      8. Return the gammon to the slow cooker and stir
      9. Serve and enjoy!
