SW recipe: Skinny Greek lamb burgers with tzatziki



140g extra-lean lamb mince

1tsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of ground allspice

1 tsp finely chopped fat-leaf parsley

1 and half tsp dried oregano

Frylight Olive Oil Spray

50g deseeded cucumber

1tbsp chopped mint leaves

2tbsp fat-free natural yogurt

2 slices tomato

20g finely sliced red onion

2 radishes thinly sliced

2 folded flat breads


1 Place the minced lamb in a bowl with the spices, herbs and pinch of salt and pepper, mis gently to combine then gently make  4 burger-shaped patties. Race a small, non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat and spray with oil. Cook the mini burgers for 2-3 mins each side, or until cooked to your liking.

2 Meanwhile, combine the cucumber and mint with the yogurt. Season with salt and Pepper and set aside

3 Place 2 burgers inside each warm, folded flatbread and add the tomato, red onion, radishes and dollop of tzatziki.
