SW recipe: Sticky hoisin cocktail sausages

Serves: 20 Prep time: 10 minutes Ready in: Less than 30 mins

Syns per serving: 1-1/2 / Freezer friendly

Ingredients:

20 pork cocktail sausages

2 level tbsp hoisin sauce

4 tbsp tomato purée

4 tbsp dark soy sauce

1/2 tsp sweetener

1/4 tsp dried red chilli flakes

Tip: Suitable for freezing

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas 4. Place the sausages in a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix together the hoisin sauce, tomato puree, soy sauce, sweetener and chilli flakes. Pour over the sausages and toss to mix well.
3. Place the sausages in a single layer in a roasting tin lined with baking parchment. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until sticky and cooked through.
4. Serve warm or at room temperature.

And so you never feel deprived you can enjoy limited amounts of treats which are higher-calorie, less filling foods that include chocolate, crisps and alcohol.
